It's all about the end result...

Man, is this pregnancy different than the last one! In the eight weeks and 1 day i was pregnant this past March/April, I NEVER got sick. Tired? Yes. Sick? No. They say each pregnancy is different... well...

This time: 5 weeks hit and BAM! you name it, I have it... fatigue, heart burn, migraines, upset stomach, nausea... well, not JUST nausea. :( This is CRAZY!!! And "morning sickness?" Try "all day sickness!!!!" Morning... HA!

On the bright side, I've lost 8 pounds! I'm not sure which is better... feeling great, being hungry, eating well.... or losing weight... hmmm...

I don't think the hubby has grasped the fact that his pregnant wife is SICK AS A DOG... the urge for him to fix heavy, seasoned, crazy flavored, supreme pizza like foods hasn't left his mind... we'll see how long that lasts... :)

On the bright side, if you've been pregnant before, you know this is a GREAT sign. Though I HATE feeling like this, where sleeping is the only relief i can get from feeling the need to puke... it's all about the end result... and truthfully... I would do ANYTHING for that. so... bring it on! (but if possible... not for too much longer please!)

p.s. 7 weeks Wednesday... I'll be at the Emerald Isle all week! (we'll see how that goes!)

St. Patty's Day.

Hopefully, the 2nd time will be a charm! We're pregnant! Due St. Patty's Day 2010...

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything looks great! The baby is growing exactly where it needs to be, with in one day of my actual due date. Unlike the last pregnancy, I've been majorly sick with this one... though not fun, a really really good sign! Keep us and this unborn child in your prayers as we go through this journey!

Annual Family Campout

Every year, the Murray (my maiden name) and Trivette families get together for our Annual Family Campout. The past 2 years, we have gone to Lake Myers. We all have a great time, joke around, cook together, swim together, laugh together... it's always nice to have all of us there... cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. I dont think we could do it more than once a year though!!! :)

All the family members span from these 2 ladies...
my Nana on the left, and her sister Sue on the right...
